We welcome you to the website of Ballycotton Running Promotions....organisers of the Ballycotton '10' road race and the Summer 5-Mile Series. Over the years the success of Ballycotton Running Promotions can be attributed to a lot of factors... the people involved with BRP, year in year out, their commitment, help and understanding. Our friends in the athletics world, especially the many clubs and individuals and of course all the voluntary help we receive on race days and throughout the year… they have all helped in so many ways to bring us to where we are today.

In the women’s race, Aoife Cooke from nearby Youghal came home a clear winner – finishing in 59:57 – ahead of Derval Devaney, (Rathfarnham-WSAF), 62:17 and Siobhan O’Doherty (Borrisokane), 62:26, who won the 2014 event.
There was a bit of family history about Aoife’s victory as she is a niece of Mary Sweeney of St Finbarr’s, winner of the first Ballycotton women’s race in 1979. Mary, now 55, is still running as well as ever and finished in a new course record for that age-group of 66:38 - over two minutes faster than she ran when winning this race 37 years ago.
As usual, the race
packages will be posted out approximately two weeks
