Ballycotton '10' 2015

Ciobanu takes record fifth title in a row.

Sergiu Ciobanu from Clonliffe Harriers won the 38th Ballycotton '10' to make it five straight wins, the first ever to achieve five wins in a row. Sergiu's winning time was was 49:03 and he was closely followed by Sean Hehir, Rathfarnham-WSAF AC in a time of 49:14. Alan O'Shea from Bantry AC was third in 50:38.
Maria McCambridge from DSD AC took the Women's title in a new course record of 54:20, eclipsing the old mark by 28 seconds. Siobhan O’Doherty from Borrisokane AC was second in 57:24, with Claire McManus from North Shields Poly AC taking third place in 1:00:59.
